ABOUT
MARCIA
Marcia
McConnell, LCSW, is a life coach and psychotherapist
who accentuates the positive. In her 30 year career
she has helped children, adolescents and adults in
a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient
and residential treatment venues. She was the Director
of Child and Family Programs at Larimer County Mental
Health Center and the Clinical Coordinator for Adolescent
Services at Mountain Crest Hospital. She is currently
in private practice with her husband Dr. Gary Ranch.
Marcia
is a graduate of Dr. Martin Seligman’s groundbreaking
positive psychology course Authentic Happiness Coaching
and Dr. Ben Dean’s MentorCoach program.
Marcia
is an engaging speaker who presents to such diverse
groups as businesses, public agencies, volunteers
and family associations. She has provided training
and consultation on stress management, resilience,
emotional intelligence, life transitions and adaptation
to change.
Being an
intentional optimist, Marcia chooses to believe that
change is possible regardless of our past circumstances,
limitations and challenges. Her current passion is
promoting resilience, emotional intelligence and strengths-based
personal growth for self-empowerment, rich and meaningful
relationships and creative self-expression.
